few weeks after I experienced my heart attack
at age 49, a cardiologist attempted an angioplasty
on a clogged artery. It was unsuccessful and I
was told that I
would have to learn to “live with it”.
I was already depressed, physically weak,

only helped to drive
me further into depression.

that time, I
